Vision

The Merriam-webster dictionary defines Vision as

1. the act or power of seeing sight

2. something seen in a dream, trance, or ecstasyespecially

Our Druidry defines vision as follows: “The ability to broaden one’s perspective to have a greater understanding of our place/role in the cosmos, relating to the past, present, and future.

Vision to me is seeing what has happened in the past, visioning what is to come. Many moons ago, when asked where I see myself in 10 years, I had a different expectation than the reality I face today. How I envisioned myself in 10 years set myself a goal, but that goal was not set in stone. There are a wide range of variables that cannot be seen.  In Ritual, during omens I use Vision to figure out what the Gods are trying to tell me, I get a strong feeling of the path I should take when interpreting them. For Ár nDraíocht Féin, I love creating new content, my vision would be to create more content for the Dedicant Path Program to help facilitate a easier time completing the dedicant Path program. Having a Vision is important because it allows you to set Priorities towards a end path, without Vision you would be lost in the endless void.
